I haven't drawn anything like skulls in a while but rather than just drawing a skull I thought I'd make it a little more interesting. So I decided to try and link it to the idea of what makes us unique? In the sense that who we are changes our appearance from being the same and to me this isn't just shown on someones surface it's what lies underneath that defines us (without sounding too cliched). I chose this design as a straight forward representation of a more creative personality by applying different colours and repeated patterns whilst adding a subtle tint of a quirky cheeky personality in the face.
